Aladdin 1953 - The Flamingo

Here is the original.
You know I love Aladdin floor plans.
Today with have the Flamingo, one of my favorites.  It's pretty much exactly what people think of when they think of midcentury ranches - not only is it wide and simple, but it has the stereotypical use of different sidings to make it look even bigger than it is, to emphasize its long, lean nature - and it is PINK.

Kinda welcoming, isn't it?

This version is, as usual, without CC and uses basegame only items so anyone can use it in game.  By the end of the week, you could be well on your way to a cute little midcentury subdivision!

Overview.  Cars included for ease.
I noticed after I took the picture that I'd added a couple of items that are not included in the download:

twin larva not included, nor bassinets
Those bassinets are from the Twygo nursery at TSR by AnoeskaB.  (You could check the Booty as well, if so inclined.)  Sims will place toddlers in them, which looks bizarre, and you can place a teddy bear in them too, which also looks bizarre as the bear basically floats in midair near the bassinet.  You can place the bassinets right next to each other without cheats, just like this, so they're space efficient, but sometimes Sims have routing problems if there's a wall too close to one of the ends.  Anyway, back to the house, currently being tested by the Jones family, having outgrown two of the other homes here:
Living room, cheerful and soothing!
Dining room, as packaged!
Kitchen.  Does what it says on the tin.
Upstairs bath in mint and pink!
The more feminine children's room, with crib for Awesomeness.
The more masculine children's room.
I used metal for the paneling and "wood" parts of the furniture in hopes of imparting a semi-plastic looking sheen.
The tropical-ish master bedroom.  Mr and Mrs Jones not included.
The rather creepy unfinished basement!  Yay!
The downstairs bath off the laundry room.
Laundry room, in the basement, with no CC
Laundry room with CC you can add!
CC shown here by Around the Sims 3, Sims Trastos, and Simply Styling.
For some reason, I have not been able to properly access Sims Trastos for the last week, but I can't say if the problem is on my side or theirs.

If you have any house/building requests, please feel free to comment here or drop me an email at witchzenka at yahoo dot com.  Keep in mind I only have the base game at this moment, and I hate warped walls with a passion (though I might use it if someone earnestly needed them).  I usually offer only houses with no CC, but I am perfectly willing to use CC in a request if it's from a site that allows sharing in lots.
